The Club Activities

Last term, I have joined at the Guitar Fans Club because I like the music very well. Our Guitar Fans Club’s proprieter is called Christopher. He is in Grade 10-D. Christopher is a very nice guitarist, I think there are almost no music book can daunt him, he’s guitar skill is quite excellent. I think guitar is a very lovely musical instrument because I think its voice is not only pleasant to hear, but also very handsome while we play it. I like guitar very much.

The first time when I joined in the club activities, in accordance with the president’s request, I brought a new guitar. I love this guitar very much; its body is navy blue and its sounds very pretty. Our Guitar Fans Club’s proprieter taught us how to look the music book and know about our guitar. Then I began to understand that the guitar looks simple in structure and easy to upper hand，but in fact, if you want to play the guitar very well you must spend a lot of time to practice.

At the very beginning, when I learned use my fingers to press the string, my fingers were very ache and my fingers were having some impressions by the string. Although my fingers felt ache, I still love the guitar. I love music, love art, I don care about some little problem, and I think these problems are not bad things but funny things. I felt very happy while I played the guitar. Sometimes, I could not play one melody smooth, so I tried to practice over and over, as far as I could play that melody smooth.
Occasionally, I had some question about guitar, I will ask our proprieter. If I could not find our proprieter, I will ask for my friend who also joined at the Guitar Fans Club. We can discuss the problem and we usually found the solution.

During the process, when I practiced the guitar, I felt a little temper. It was difficult to connect the rhythm when I was not proficiency in it. However, after this process, I understand that there are a lot of things in our lives are look very simple, but in fact, that are not true. We always judge those things by appearances and neglect the essence, so we should see the essence through the appearance. At the beginning, I thought the guitar is very easy to learn, but when I began to practice it, I found that I was wrong. In fact, guitar is easy to upper hand but difficult to playing very well.

I have joined the Guitar Fans Club for 3 months, in these 3 months; I learned about many things, the most important thing is: we should overcome the difficulty and always look ahead. I think the Guitar Fans Club is very nice and its strength is: our proprieter knows that most of us are green hands, so he divided us into several groups, in this way, he can teach us more easily and we can learn the guitar more quick. However, it also has the weaknesses: sometimes, I would suspend the class in one of the week because my guitar activity time is in every Friday’s evening, but I had to go home occasionally. I think, next term, I will talk to the proprieter and adjust the activity time with him. I believe that Guitar Fans Club will become one of the best Clubs in GCA.
